Welcome to our nest wall hanging

Today I want to show you a "Welcome" wall hanging, cute as a gift for someone who moved house or for your own "nest" :-)

The base is a MDF egg that I covered with FabScrabs paper

After that I embossed white Papicolor paper with the Sizzix Flourish embossingfolder and coloured with Versacolor ink

I cut the egg shape a bit smaller, torn out the inside and distressed the edges

Along the inside I used foamtape geplakt, to raise it

Along the outside I used double sided tape and taped it to the egg, with the embossed parts and strip beneath

I cut the Creative expressions Exquisite Poppy

The flowers are coloured with ink, shaped and assembled them

After that I layed out the flowers so see where they need to come

After gluing I dry brushed with Gesso to soften the color

I printed text and inked the edges, some sequins for the much needed Bling-Bling:-) and the flower get hearts with the Perlen Pen

"Welcome to our nest" hanger

Vandaag wil ik jullie een "Welcome" hanger laten zien leuk als kadootje voor iemand met een nieuwe woning of voor je eigen "nestje" :-)

De basis is een MDF ei dat ik heb bekleed met FabScrabs papier

Daarna heb ik hagelwit Papicolor papier ge-embost met de Sizzix Flourish embossingfolder en gekleurd met Versacolor inkt

Ik heb nog een eivorm iets kleiner uitgeknipt en het binnenste gedeelte eruit gescheurd, randjes opgeruwd

Langs de binnenrand heb ik foamtape geplakt, zodat dit wat omhoog komt

Langs de buitenrand heb ik dubbelzijdige tape aangebracht en het op het ei geplakt met de embossingdelen en reep eronder

Ik heb Creative expressions Exquisite Poppy gestanst

De bloemen zijn gekleurd met inkt, gevormd en in elkaar geplakt

Daarna heb ik de bloemen op hun plaats gelegd om te kijken waar ze moeten komen

Na het opplakken heb ik het geheel ge-dry brushed met Gesso om de kleur wat zachter te maken

Ik heb nog een tekst geprint en de randjes geïnkt, een paar pailetten voor de noodzakelijke Bling-Bling:-) en de bloemen krijgen hartjes met de Perlen Pen

Today I want to show a card made with the collage stencil-stampset. In the stecil are different sizes flowers and leaves, zitten verschillende maten bloemen en blaadjes, stamps are in doodle style and there are a lot:-) great for variation.

With the Gelli plate I made a background with Brilliance and Versamagic ink, It's build up in layers, 1 color each layer, start with the light color.
With the stencil I blotted some color so the leaves show.

(I have no pictures of these steps, ink is very difficult to see on the Gelli plate)

The second background I made with these colors.

Then I used the stecil and ink to apply the flowers, first the whole flower with the light color.

A second darker color I used along the edges applied with a sponge.

I draw around the flowers with a Ecco Pigment pen.
Then I stamped the hearts with Versafine ink using the Stamping tool by Leane Creatief.

Tip: with the stamping Tool you can stamp multiple stamps at a time and multiple print at the same place for a nice deep color.

The strips for the sentiment I colored with Brilliance ink and stamped with the same colors.

Then I stamped the sentiment.

Just for you collage kaart

Vandaag wil ik een kaart laten zien die ik heb gemaakt met de collage stencil-stempelset. in het stecil zitten verschillende maten bloemen en blaadjes, de bijbehorende stempels zijn in doodle stijl en het zijn er heel veel:-) om lekker te variëren.

Met de Gelli plate heb ik een achtergrond gemaakt met Brilliance en Versamagic inkt, het is opgebouwd in laagjes, 1 kleur per laag, begin met de lichtste kleur.
Met behulp van het stencil heb ik wat kleur weggedept zodat er blaadjes te zien zijn.

(Ik heb er geen foto's van, inkt is namelijk heel moeilijk te zien op de Gelli plate)

De 2de achtergrond heb ik met deze kleuren gemaakt.

Daarna heb ik de bloemen met het sjabloon en inkt aangebracht, eerst met een lichte kleur de hele bloem.

Een 2de donkerdere kleur heb ik langs de buitenrand gedaan, ik gebruikt hiervoor een sponsje.

Om de bloemen heel heb ik een rand getekend met een Ecco Pigment pen.
Daarna heb ik met Versafine de verschillende hartjes gestempeld met behulp van het stempel tool van Leane Creatief.

Tip: met een stempeltool kun je ineens meer stempels tegelijk stempelen en meerdere keren dezelfde afdruk maken voor een mooie diepe kleur.

De repen voor de tekst heb ik gekleurd met Brilliance inkt en met dezelfde kleur heb ik erop gestempeld.

Daarna heb ik de tekst erop gestempeld.
