Hi lovely crafty friends, today I have hues of blue and that is my favorite colour so I went a bit crazy mixing and matching but it was lots of fun and think it shows on the cards. Let me show you how these easy mixed media cards came together.

From the blue-purplish colours to the turquoise, all layers are made from scratch which is super fun to do and real easy too.
The first layer of the blue purple colour is made with Nuvo - Aqua Flow Pens Winter Skies ( SBC | CST | TNCUK | TNC ) together with the Nuvo - Light Mist - Spray Bottle ( SBC | CST | CRF | TNCUK | TNC )
I stamped the Textured Mushrooms ( RBB ) on a piece of Craft Perfect Ultra Smooth Card ( CST | CRF | TNCUK | TNC ) with Nuvo Clear Mark Ink Pad ( CST | CRF | TNCUK | TNC ) and heat embossed them with Ranger Ink - Embossing Powder - Teal Tinsel ( SBC | RNG )

On the background I used the Rubber Dance stamps Grungy Harlequin ( RBB ) and Ranger Ink - Embossing Powder - Navy Metallic ( SBC | CST | CST | RNG ) to create some texture.
At the bottom of both cards I stamped the Textured Mushrooms ( RBB ) with Nuvo Clear Mark Ink Pad ( CST | CRF | TNCUK | TNC ) on both sides and I added Ranger Ink Embossing Powder Bridal Tinsel ( SBC | JGG | RNG ) for some sparkle.
I used the Rubber Dance Old Book Page ( RBB ) with Distress Oxide Ink Chipped Sapphire ( SBC | CST | CRF | JGG ) to add a bit more texture in the lighter bottom part.
I stamped the mushrooms and heat embossed with Ranger Embossing Powder - Teal Tinsel ( SBC | RNG ) and I fussy cut them using the Tim Holtz - Non-Stick Micro Serrated Scissors - 7 Inches ( SBC | CST | TNCUK | TNC ). I coloured the top of the mushrooms with Nuvo - Ocean Air True Turquoise - Aqua Flow ( SBC | CST | TNCUK | TNC )
On the white part of the mushrooms I added Nuvo - Aqua Shimmer - Glitter Gloss ( SBC | TNCUK | TNC ) for some extra shimmer, it's a super pretty detail that is hard to catch on camera but so pretty in real life.
I pre-made some Nuvo - Crystal Drops Gloss - Morning Dew ( SBC | TNCUK | TNC | JGG ) these dry clear and look like water drops. And I used the same drops to add them on the card.
The sentiments were made with the Rubber Dance Journal Words ( RBB ) and stamped with Ranger Ink Embossing Powder Bridal Tinsel ( SBC | JGG | RNG )
