One Colour Ink Layering With Distress Oxide Ink

Hi lovely crafty friends, today I have another art journal page to share, and I am going to use one colour ink for the background and use different techniques to build the colours.
(All supplies are linked to different stores at the end of this post in the thumbnails. The different stores are also linked behind the product name. Affiliate links may be used at no cost to you.)

I used the Round in Circles Rubber Dance stamp with Distress Oxides Ink Peacock Feathers ( SBC | CST | CRF | JGG ) for the background and a few easy but fun techniques to build the layers. this is also very doable for beginner crafters, so make sure to watch the video to see all techniques at work.

I started on Craft Perfect - Watercolour Card ( SBC | TNCUK | TNC ) and I used a Nuvo - Nylon Brush ( SBC | CST | TNCUK | TNC ) to make a watercolour background. This dilutes the ink and is perfect for the first layer.

I made more layers with the Round in Circles stamp which has a bunch of different designs and is great for layering. I stamped a sentiment on Craft Perfect Ultra Smooth Card ( CRF | CST | TNCUK | TNC ) with VersaFine Ink Onyx Black ( SBC | CST | CST | BLTand cut out the words to make the sentiment.

I finished with the sentiment from the Mix A Sentiment stamp and some doodling with a Sakura Micron Pen Set ( SBC | CST ) around the words and edge to add some black accents for contrast.
Now I made an art journal page but of course you can use this idea for a card too. And for me there are only a few more pages to fill my mini album:-)

I hope you liked this super easy page and you are inspired to started right away. Thanks for stopping by and make sure to keep on crafting!
