Hi lovely crafty friends, today I have another collaboration, with my dear friend Susanne Rose and we are both going to show you some fun Gel Printing Techniques.

I've done another video on Gel printing with Distress Oxides with lots of card examples, if you haven't seen the Gel Printing With Distress Oxide Ink video yet, make sure to check it out.
On these cards I used the Tonic Studios - Sentiments Strip Die Set - Hello ( SBC | CST | CRF | TNCUK | TNC ) to turn the prints into cards.
To make my prints I used two of the Ranger Ink - Gel Plate - 3 Pack Assortment - Printing Plates ( SBC | CST ) the sizes in this set are great for cardmaking. I also used the Ranger Ink - Gel Plate - Brayers - Small ( SBC | CST ) which I love, it's a nice size and easy to hold and it rolls super light which makes it easy to handle.
And to mix the colours I used Ranger Ink - Texture Paste - Transparent Gloss ( SBC | RNG ) and the American Crafts - Palette Knife - Silicon ( SBC ) which is another one of my favorite tools.
For the blue gel prints I used the Pick a Number ( RBB ) stamp set together with
Nuvo - Shimmer Powder - Blue Blitz ( SBC | CST | CRF | CST | TNCUK | TNC ) and Atlantis Burst ( SBC | CST | CRF | TNCUK | TNC )
In today's video I am going to work with Shimmer Powder on the gel plate. Shimmer Powder by itself will not give you pretty prints but there is a way that you can make gorgeous shimmer backgrounds with the powder on the Gel Plate. I show you some easy tricks and give tips, so be sure to watch today's video so you can see the full tutorial. The link to Susanne's video is in my video description.

For the green tinted prints I used I Love Leaves( RBB ) stamps with
Nuvo - Shimmer Powder - Atlantis Burst ( SBC | CST | CRF | TNCUK | TNC ) Green Parade ( SBC | CRF | CST | TNCUK | TNC )

For the pink, turquoise, green tinted prints I used Textured Flowers ( RBB ) stamps with
Nuvo - Shimmer Powder - Atlantis Burst ( SBC | CST | CRF | TNCUK | TNC ) with Green Parade ( SBC | CRF | CST | TNCUK | TNC )
Lilac Waterfall ( SBC | TNCUK | TNC ) Cherry Bomb ( SBC | CRF | CST | TNCUK | TNC ) and Solar Flare ( SBC | CRF | CST | TNCUK | TNC )
Here I used the Tim Holtz Christmas Circle Words ( SBC | CRF | CST ) again but a bit different, another fun way to stretch your products.
