Easy Easel Cards Tonic Studios Designers Choice Die Set October Edition

Hi lovely crafty friends, today I have something cool and new to share, Tonic Studios has started a new die series called Designers Choice, today is the release and I am going to show you a few projects I made with this fun die set.

The die set is designed to make an easel card but there are lots of different parts in this set that will allow you to make lots of other cards and projects, it always great to have some ideas to stretch your products. 

Here are the two easel cards with a bit more detailed one on the left and the fast version on the right.

In the set are lots of details that will give you lots of options to decorate and to make complete different projects. On this card I made layers with the bigger dies combined with hearts and butterflies to create interest on the card.

I used Craft Perfect Ultra Smooth Card ( CRF | CST | TNCUK | TNC ) for the base and coloured it with Aqua Splash from the Nuvo - Aqua Flow - Summer Holiday set ( SBC | CST | CRF | TNCUK | TNC )

I cut the dragonfly and flower border out of Craft Perfect - Glitter Card Turquoise Lake ( SBC | CST | CRF | TNCUK | TNC )

I coloured a piece of ultra-smooth card with Nuvo - Glacier Paste - Sea Sprite ( SBC | CRF | CST | TNCUK | TNC ) using a Nuvo - Nylon Brush ( SBC | CST | TNCUK | TNC ) to cut the butterflies and hearts to add some shimmer accents.

You can also go for a super fast version, just cut the parts out of you favourite papers and assemble the card.



I used Craft Perfect Glitter Card Silver Screen ( CRF | CST | TNCUK | TNC ) on Craft Perfect - Classic Card - Jet Black - Weave Textured ( TNCUK | TNC ) for a more classic look.



The card in just two layers is super fast to make and assemble and you can combine different colours to get a more clean and simple look.

Here are two more cards with the flower border die used in different ways.

For this card I used a Craft Perfect - Classic Card - Bright White ( TNCUK | TNC ) for the base, with a slightly smaller piece of Craft Perfect Hand Crafted Embossed Cotton Paper Hail Storm ( SBC | CST | CST | TNCUK | TNC ) and the Craft Perfect Mirror Card Blue Obsidian ( SBC | TNCUK | TNC ) for the die cuts.

I like to add the little details but you can keep it simple by just adding a title.



The combination of the Mirror Card With the Cotton Paper gives a fun effect on the card with the smooth and embossed combined.



For this card I used Craft Perfect Glitter Card Sugar Crystal ( CRF | CST | TNCUK | TNC ) on top of Craft Perfect Hand Crafted Paper Floral Lace ( CRF | CST | TNCUK | TNC ) 



I cut of parts of the flower border and used that again behind the sentiment.
