Hi lovely crafty friends, today I have two cards with a fun Faux Watercolour technique. Besides different colours nuvo Aqua Flow Pens I also used the Small Grungy Butterflies and Old Bookpage Rubber Dance stamps

The Faux watercolour technique is very easy to do and it gives super cool results. Be sure to watch the video to see this fun technique at work.
For the faux watercolour technique I used Nuvo Aqua flow pens, they come in sets of three and have a bunch of these so I mixed them up a bit. But you can use just one set and get great results.
For this card I have used Craft Perfect Ultra Smooth Card ( CST | CRF | TNCUK | TNC )
And I used Lemon Zest in the background from the Aqua Flow - Summer Holiday set ( SBC | CST | CRF | TNCUK | TNC )
And I used Fresh green from the Spring Meadow set ( SBC | CRF | CST | TNCUK | TNC )
Azure Blue from the Winter Skies set ( SBC | CST | TNCUK | TNC )
and True turquoise from the Ocean Air set ( SBC | CRF | CST | TNCUK | TNC )
For this background I used Soft Rose and for the butterflies I used Lilac Blossom both from the Aqua Flow - Spring Meadow set ( SBC | CRF | CST | TNCUK | TNC )
Clear water from the Ocean Air set ( SBC | CRF | CST | TNCUK | TNC )
and Wild Phlox Arabian Nights set ( SBC | CRF | CST | TNCUK | TNC )
And I added splats of diluted Dina Wakley - Black Gesso ( SBC ) as a fun touch. I used a
Nuvo Nylon Brush ( SBC | CST | TNCUK | TNC ) and depending on the size of the brush and how much water you use to dilute you get bigger or smaller splats. I used a smaller brush and not to much water to get small splats.
