I started creating my background on Craft Perfect - Watercolour Card ( SBC | TNCUK | TNC ) and I used Distress Oxides Ink Pads - Tumbled Glass ( SBC | CRF | CST ) Peacock Feathers ( SBC | CST | CRF ) Salty Ocean ( SBC | CRF )
& Shaded Lilac ( SBC | CST | CRF )
I used Nuvo Brushes ( SBC | CST | TNCUK | TNC ) to create a watercolour background, this is a great set with 12 brushes pointy and flat ones, so you can use them for lots of projects and different techniques. I used quite some water to let the colours move by themselves. It's real pretty to watch the colour move around in a little puddle of water. Have a piece of kitchen paper and a bowl of water close so you can add water and blot if needed.

I used one of my favorite stamps sets the Rubber Rubber Dance Textured Flowers ( RBB ) and fussy cut the flowers. I stamped the flowers with Tsukineko - VersaFine Clair Ink Morning Mist ( SBC | CST ) for a soft look as this page is for a summer hop.
I use the Rubber Dance Mix A Sentiment ( RBB ) another great stamp with lots of words to mix and match. I stamped it with VersaFine Clair Ink Nocturne ( SBC | CST ) to add some black for contrast.
In the background I used four colours embossing powder matching the colour Distress Oxide ink. I used Nuvo - Embossing Powder - Cool Jade ( SBC | CRF | CST )
Blue Odyssey ( SBC | CRF | CST | TNCUK | TNC ) Purple Haze ( SBC | CRF | CST | TNCUK | TNC ) and Crushed Mulberry ( SBC | TNCUK | TNC ) with Nuvo - Clear Mark Embossing Pad ( TNCUK | TNC ) this ink is super sticky and works great for embossing.
