Hi lovely crafty friends, today I have two cards made with the gorgeous Vicki Boutin paper pad. I totally loved it when I saw it and it was a joy working with some gorgeous patterned papers again.

I am using glitter in this video and I have a video with tips and tricks on using glitter and reducing the mess. If you haven't seen the 7 Ideas For Easy Stunning Glitter Backgrounds + All The Glitter Less Mess Tips video yet, make sure to check it out.
I made some easy layered cards using elements from the pad and some of the pretty Nuvo Pure sheen glitter that went great with the colour scheme of the pad. In the video I show you how I made these cards so be sure to watch the video to see how this is done.
To add some sparkling accents I added Nuvo - Pure Sheen Glitter - Turquoise ( SBC | CST | CRF | TNCUK | TNC ) that is a perfect match. And I used the Nuvo - Surface Sweep Brush ( SBC ) to wipe away excess bits, I great tool to reduce the mess a bit. I added the glitter on Craft Perfect Ultra Smooth Card ( CRF | CST | TNCUK | TNC ) which makes a great base for the glitter.
I added some Nuvo Crystal Drops Gloss - Auburn Pearl ( SBC | CST | CRF | TNCUK | TNC ) always great for some extra dimension.
For the second card I used another card from the paper pad, this makes a fast and easy focal point.
For the sentiment I used the new Tim Holtz Alphabet Die - Handmade ( SBC | CST | CRF ) to cut the sentiment out of Craft Perfect - Grey Board ( SBC | TNCUK | TNC ) and Craft Perfect Weave Textured Card Jet Black ( CRF | CST | TNCUK | TNC )
I used Craft Perfect - Textured Classic Cardstock Apricot Orange ( SBC | TNCUK | TNC ) as the cards base for both cards as it fits the colour scheme perfectly. And finished with some of the same Nuvo drops.

I used the American Crafts - Wildflower and Honey Collection Paper Pad ( SBC ) for both cards. It has some great designs, I really love this paper pad.

I used a flower detail from one of the pages to fussy cut. And I love using my Tim Holtz - Non-Stick Micro-Serrated Multi-Cutter ( CST | TNCUK | SBC | TNC ) for fussy cutting, as it is so easy to hold and cuts like a charm.
I added some Nuvo Crystal Drops Gloss - Auburn Pearl ( SBC | CST | CRF | TNCUK | TNC ) always great for some extra dimension.

I used the bits that were cut off from the page to make the layers, a great way to use up your scraps.
