today I made a birthday card for you
I started with Sering original cardstock, embossed this with a mask stencil
Make a sandwich as shown in the picture place the embossing mat and pads as usual and run it through the machine
The paper is distressed and torn, I cut Creative Expressions background Aubergine flower strips and cut to the right size
I glued the flower strips behind the torn parts
Behing the open parts I glued some white scraps
To make stand out the embossing part a bit more I applied ink with a sponge
I also cut the background out of Celeste papier with the Creative Expressions die, I cut this in half and matted it with white paper, distressed the edges
Out of white paper I cut 2 ovals, I glue them together for a thicker more sturdy piece
These are the parts I'm going to use to finish the card
The flowers I coloured with ink, shaped and assembled
The flower background is taped, the oval and embellishments are ready to see where I want to place them
I glued the Ivy on and under the oval and the whole on the card
I printed and cut the text, inked the edges, the letters I have cut I tape back together
All flowers, tag and text are glued down, the flowers have a heart with the Perlen Pen
Happy crafting on to the next blog!
