I used the die from Tonic Studios Craft Kit 24 and Nuvo Alcohol markers. This is the third group of cards I made with the Craft Kit you can check out the products and first cards I made here. If you haven't seen the fast and easy Birthday Cards video yet, make sure to check it out. The Faux Stained glass effect gives a gorgeous shine to your projects. There are different ways to get a similar faux stained glass effect but I think the way I used for these cards is the fastest way. Be sure to watch the video to see how this super cool Faux Stained glass effect is done.
I coloured the backgrounds with Nuvo Alcohol markers and they are super easy to work with and blend fabulously. You don't need any experience to create a pretty project. And like all Tonic Studios and nuvo products they are easy to hold which makes it so much fun to work with.

Here you can see the pretty gloss from the stained glass effect. I used Craft Perfect Classic Card Mustard Yellow ( CRF | CST | TNCUK | TNC ) in the back behind the frame and on top to add a bit more of a bold colour. And it goes great with the colours from the frame.
I used some bits I had left from previous cards cut out of Craft Perfect Glitter Card Ruby Ritz ( CST | CRF | TNCUK | TNC ) to tuck under the circle in the center. this glitter card gives some extra sparkle to a card that is really gorgeous and as you can see a little detail has a great effect.
On this card I used some lighter colours which makes the card a bit more cute:-) I used

The nuvo alcohol markers are available in packs of three co-ordinating colours. I added those in the thumbnails below.
Here you can see the colour of the Glitter Marker - Wild Lavender ( SBC | CRF | CST | TNCUK | TNC ) up close it add a fun sparkle.
And for this card I used Craft Perfect Weave Textured Card Pumpkin Orange ( CST | TNCUK | TNC ) in the back and on top and I added a die cut circle on top in the same colour. The little stars came out of the black frame and I save them as an embellishment.

I added a few Vintage drops as a fun detail.
When I use multiple colours next to each
other I go over them again with the lighter colour so they blend perfectly. You can combine different shades like
orange and yellow for instance and that will blend in really well. I also used the Nuvo - Glitter Marker - Wild Lavender ( SBC | CRF | CST | TNCUK | TNC ) that comes in this months kit on this card for the balloons and the present.
