Hallo knutselvrienden, zoals je misschien hebt gezien, heb ik al eerder berichten geplaatst over de Nuvo Aqua flow pennen. De levendige kleuren zijn absoluut prachtig en hebben veel mogelijkheden, vandaag wil ik je wat meer vertellen over deze pennen.
Hi crafty friends, as you may have seen I've done some posts about the Nuvo Aqua flow pens.
The vibrant colours are absolutely stunning and have lots of possibilities, today I want to tell you a bit more about these pens. And they are currently on SALE so make sure to check the whole post!
De pennen zijn verkrijgbaar verpakt per drie en als je ze uit de verpakking haalt moet je ze eerst klaarmaken voor gebruik.

Je haalt de dop van de pen en schroeft het stuk met de penseel los. Dan verwijder je de gele ring en schroef je het bovenste stuk er weer terug op.
You take of the cap and unscrew the top of the pen. Then remove the yellow ring and screw the top of the pen back on.
Nu zijn de pennen klaar voor gebruik, om de inkt eruit te laten komen, knijp je in de pen totdat er inkt in de container komt en je de inkt naar de punt ziet gaan.
Now the pens is ready to start using, to get the first ink out to the nib you squeeze the pen until the container fills with colour and you can see the colour come in the brush tip .
De pennen hebben een zachte penseelpunt waardoor ze ideaal zijn voor aquarel projecten. Met lichte druk kunt je fijne lijntjes maken. Je kunt grotere lijnen maken met meer druk. De zachte punt is ook ideaal voor het kleuren van grotere delen van een project.
The pens have a soft brush nib which makes them great for watercolour projects. With light pressure you can colour fine lines. You can create bigger lines with more pressure. The soft brush is also great for colour washing bigger parts on a project.
The ink is highly pigmented water based ink. The ink is translucent and will sink in the paper just like a dye ink would.
De pennen hebben een reservoir en een anti-druppel klepje, dus geen zorgen over lekken, het wordt aanbevolen om ze staand op te bergen. Dit is geen probleem voor mij is, want op deze manier zie je de pennen en de kleuren en gebruik je ze sneller.
The pens have a reservoir and non drip valve so no worries about leaking, it is recommended to store them standing, which is no problem for me because this way you see them and the colours and you are more likely to use them.
Je kunt ook wat inkt uit de pen op een craft mat of een acrylblok aanbrengen. En een waterbrush gebruiken om de kleuren aan te brengen, zodat ze een beetje lichter worden. En natuurlijk kun je er mooie druppels mee maken door de pen in wat inkt te dopen en er dan op te tikken boven je project.
You can also squeeze some ink out of the pen onto a craft mat or acrylic block for instance.
And use a waterbrush to apply the colours so they will be a bit lighter. And of course you can make pretty drops by dipping the pen in the ink and then tap on it above a project.

De kleuren zijn super mooi en er is al een hele collectie om uit te kiezen dus ze zijn ook super voor inkleuren. Als je een geemboste afbeelding met embossing poeder hebt, kunt je deze heel gemakkelijk met de pennen inkleuren.
The colours of the pens are vibrant and gorgeous and there is quite a collection available so they will be great for colouring too.
